FM 455 Anna, TX Roadway Project - Saundra J. Linscheid

UPDATE - APRIL 2016
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is projecting substantial completion for FM 455 to occur by the end of this year. Currently 90% of the storm pipe has been installed on the project and the subgrade is finished for the future westbound lanes. For the next phase of construction, TxDOT's contractor (Lone Star) will set up a concrete batch plant and begin paving the future westbound lanes. This means that you should see rebar installed on top of the asphalt in the future westbound lanes soon. Around the beginning of June TxDOT is anticipating that traffic will be switched over to the new westbound concrete lanes on the north side. The contractor will then make the permanent intersecting road connections on the north side and begin grading and liming operations on the future eastbound lanes on the south side.
As with any major infrastructure project, weather and material availability may affect scheduled completion dates. Please continue to use caution while driving on FM 455.
